SAN
BLAS ECOADVENTURE
Journey North of Puerto Vallarta,
along the scenic North coast of Banderas Bay, enjoying
panoramic views as you start the day right with
a light breakfast. We'll venture up to
Las Varas, toward San Blas, about 60 miles (100
km) up the beautiful coastline, passing quaint farming
and fishing villages along the way.
We'll arrive at the famous river,
La Tovara, where we'll board a boat and take
an amazing 10-mile (16 km) boat ride through this
magical mangroved-lined ecosystem. We'll
visit the region's only Crocodile Reserve, where
you'll learn about these amazing creatures, and
watch for a dazzling array of wildlife, such as
exotic birds, tropical fish, and more as your expert
guide fills your trip with amazing facts about what
you're seeing.
The next stop will be historic
San Blas, where you'll visit a the ruins of Fuerte
de San Basilio, a 16th century fort, and
the main church, as well as have time to take photographs.
Then it's off to beautiful Matanchen Bay, where
we'll enjoy lunch, and you'll have time to swim,
walk on the beach, or just relax.
