"My significant other and myself toured Puerto Vallarta through Carnival Cruise lines in February. We took the CITY AND TROPICAL TOUR with Carlos as our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and funny, we simply loved it! I was a bit hesitant of doing this tour, and honestly, I was disappointed with the cruise and the vacation up to this point . However, doing this tour was the greatest pleasure for us. It completely made this whole vacation worth it! The tequila factory was fantastic, and Carlos was so knowledgeable of the history and he was a true and genuine person. "My two good friends and I had an absolute blast doing these activities!! We started with the ZIPLINE and, my God, best experience of our lives. Ivan and Mickey were the perfect hosts, they made everything funny and exciting only by being genuine and we felt safe and happy around them. The meals afterwards were also to die for, and we were glad to purchase our CD and t-shirts as well. If we had more money with us, we would have tipped them big. It was absolutely amazing. The Dolphin Adventure came later that day which was also a wonderful thing to experience. The three of us were impressed and had to purchase that CD as well (although it was quite pricy so be expecting that). And finally, two days later came our Boat Tour which honestly turned out better than any of us could have expected. The whole day was flawless; our original boat request wound up being cancelled so instead of doing the Marietas Island Exploration we did the Yelapa and Majahuitas Tour, and they quickly refunded us the difference in price! Those hosts were wonderful too, I forget the name of the fun one who treated us but I do remember Rafael the photographer and Omar the other host. All did a fabulous job at keeping everyone happy from what I saw. My friends and I enjoyed plenty of margaritas, snorkeling, relaxing out on the beach, getting a free meal, and RIDING CABALLOS THROUGH A VILLAGE TO A WATERFALL. I was in LOVE with the experience. We danced on the boat all the way back; a 19, 20, and 21 year old�s paradise. We were more than impressed with this entire trip and we want to thank everyone who made it possible � the organization, the drivers, the hosts, and of course the beautiful location itself. "My husband and I went to Puerto Vallarta in Feb/Mar this year and experienced three tours Rhythms of the Night, Extreme Adventure and Caletas Whale Watching. In two words simply amazing!!!!  The tour guides were outstanding, very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and extremely helpful on all the tours.  I�m sixty years old, on the extreme adventure tour I faced some very challenging situations, they were very patient when I was a little hesitant on the zip lines, I�m proud to say with their help I made it to the superman zip line, when I called it a day. The guides we�re Sergio, Luigi, Andrea, Noaemi, Zaho and Photographer Many, thanks to them, my husband and I had a wonderful adventure. Rhythms of the Night was an evening we�d do again in a heart beat better than any stage show in Toronto,  a  very romantic evening with a beautiful cruise across the bay. "My family and I, 8 of us, recently participated in the Outdoor Adventure in puerto vallarta. This adventure far exceeded my expectations. From the time we got on the boat until we got back, I couldn't say that there was anyone or anything that you could possibly do to make it better. The guides and drivers were all amazing, caring, funny, and much more. I loved how the two guys stayed with our little group the whole time. It was so personal and I felt important to them. Usually these kind of things are just like an assembly line and people are moved along but the outdoor adventure was not like that. They guides were like our trainers and they stayed with us and helped us through the challenging obstacles. The boat driver even stopped several times when he saw some whales and dolphins. I was really surprised at how he cared about entertaining us. He didn't have to do that. But he really seemed to care about us. "My husband and I went on the Hidden Mexico Jeep Tour up into the Sierra Madre on March 19th.  We are still talking about it on a daily basis as it was the absolute best day of our week in the PV area. SO glad we decided to do this - Juan was an incredible guide!  It touched our hearts to see how deeply he cared for the entire area, people, plants, animals, culture and history of Mexico. My husband enjoyed 3 weeks in Puerto Vallarta in February of this year.  On February 2, we boarded "Geronimo", what a great time that was!  The seas were calm and we saw lots of whales and dolphins.  Jorge, Paco, Delilah and crew took excellent care of us and showed us a spectacular time. "Sammy was one of the best parts of our trip to Puerto Vallarta. My wife and I took our parents on vacation and our present to them was a fishing/snorkeling/waterfall climbing/AMAZING ocean voyage on a small chartered boat, with Sammy as our captain. "My friend and I took the Sierra Madre Jeep Safari tour two weeks ago, and we absolutely loved it! Our guide, David, couldn�t have been more courteous and he was very knowledgeable about the area�s animals and plants. David took us deep into the Sierra Madre mountains, through little towns we would never have seen otherwise, and frequently stopped the Jeep to hop out and show us a particularly interesting tree or plant, even letting us taste tamarind right off the tree and showing us a type of berry that the locals make a type of coffee from. We saw iguanas, learned about the different types of trees in the area, stopped by a beautiful Mexican cemetery, and also stopped in a tiny town to enjoy delicious, freshly-made tortillas. We met some of the children of the town and saw their pre-school. To wrap up the day, we drove through several plantations while David explained some of the economic differences between those who work in agriculture and those who work in the tourist trade. What a great tour, and what a fantastic guide!! We couldn�t have enjoyed it more, and would eagerly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing what�s beyond Puerto Vallarta! "My wife and I, along with six of our friends took the "Black Wind" to Yelapa and we could not have had a better experience.  We snorkeled at Los Arcos, and fished along the way; catching a couple of skipjack tuna.  When we arrived at Yelapa, the local restaurant cooked the tuna for me and it was probably the best fish I've ever eaten (of course, the fact that I caught it made it taste better!).  The beach was fantastic and the hike to the waterfall was a great look at how simple life can be.  Our tour guide, Nicholas, was full of information and his familiarity with the locals made the experience comfortable and enjoyable.  David, the boat captain, did not speak much but knew where the fish where and handled the boat extremely well.  If we ever make it back to Puerto Vallarta my wife and I would gladly make the trip again! - Jon & Tosha from Central Point, Oregon

"I cannot say enough about our tour guide, Herman. We were a group of 6 people. He brought us to Yelapa in a motor boat and showered us with special blessings for the entire day. This man went far beyond what was required of him. He climbed an almond tree at least 5 times to bring almonds for the children. He gave us lots of educational information about Yelapa and Mexico in general. He was constantly smiling and engaging in conversation with us. He brought us to see some beautiful tropical fish and was very careful to make sure that everyone was safe and happy. You have no idea how lucky you are to have this man representing your company. He made sure that a taxi van was waiting for us at the end of the day and guided us right into the van AFTER he was aware that we had very little money to give him personally. Herman has such great character, he's a real gentleman. We all wish him good health and success. "We recently  did the private hiking tour of Mundo Nogalito while in Puerto Vallarta on a cruise.  Having been on literally dozens of excursions, this ranks as one of our very favorites.  One of the great things about this excursion is that it is a private one.  Our group (four people) were all pretty experienced hikers and in very good physical condition.  Because of that, we could go at our pace and not be held back.  Second, the guide, Alex, was phenomenal.  He was fun, funny, and knowledgeable.  He was at the appointed meeting place (right across from where our ship docked) and was on time.  We enjoyed not only the hike, but also his insight of Puerto Vallarta as we drove to Mundo Nogalito. Along with another couple, we took the bus trip to San Sebastian, and the guide, Victor, was by far the most knowledgeable person I've ever met when it comes to Mexican history, sociology, agriculture, economics, flora and fauna. Over the course of the day, he kept up a continuous conversation with us. He was witty, friendly and intelligent, and absolutely knew something important about everything that we passed by on the way there and on the way back. Every corner gave him something more to explain to us, and he seemed to delight in revealing every fascinating new detail. When we arrived at our destination, we discovered he also knew every person in  San Sebastian, from the smallest children to the oldest citizens, and as much as the local historian about the village's history. He provided informed opinions on such details as the Revolution, Pancho Villa and Zapata, silver mining in Mexico, agricultural practices, the conquest of Mexico by the Spaniards, wages and economic migration. He walked us through the daily life of a coffee plantation and introduced his many friends to us. As you can tell, I've never been so impressed by a tour guide. "What an incredible fishing experience we had  this past Thursday, the boat was clean, the captain (Lalo) was very experienced and his first mate (Pepe) was as good as it gets. "I thought I'd drop you a line about our fishing trip on Tuesday, 13 November.  We were picked up at the Paradise Village Marina in Nuevo Vallarta at about 7:05 AM by Lolla and Jose' in their well equipped fishing boat.  We quickly traveled to Corbetena for our fishing experience. While on the way, Jose' set the bait and readied the lines.  On the previous evening, I had called and verified lunch and ordered sodas, water and beer.  In addition, we brought some snacks and extra sodas that were properly stowed by Jose'.  In case you're wondering, Lolla, the captain, spent his time piloting the boat, watching his upper lines and looking for fish.  Fishing lines hit the water at 8:30.  The first dorado hit at 8:45 and, with the help and guidance of Jose', my 14 year old grandson pulled in his first ever salt water fish.  15 minutes later my 12 year old granddaughter pulled in another dorado.  Then my wife caught another dorado.  This one weighed close to 50 pounds!  By 9:30, we had 3 good sized fish!  Later in the morning we hooked a sailfish, but the fighter spit out the hook before we could set it.  Late morning we caught another dorado.  Shortly after noon we hooked a 60+ pound dorado and that was landed by my granddaughter.  Before we could even get all the lines back in the water, Bam! another one!  Then things got slow in the early afternoon when all the fish went for siesta.  We were just about ready to give up when a 120 pound sailfish went for an afternoon snack!  Had a great time fighting this one!   Jose' lost his club trying to stun the fish when we finally got it alongside so he used his fist to knock it out!  Trolled back towards the Marietas islands with no more luck but what a day!  6 dorado and one sailfish!  Of course we'll do it again!  Oh, and the box lunches were delicious!" - Thomas from Paducah, Kentucky

"We booked a private driver in PVR on March 20 through your company.  The directions to meet our driver, Manuel, at the Soriana were perfect.  When we got in the car, we asked Manuel to just be our guide and show us whatever he thought we should see.  He was hesitant and said that his English wasn't very good but that he would try.  Well, his English was EXCELLENT, and he was a fantastic guide!  It was, by far, our favorite day from our cruise. "Hello from Canada!!  Just wanted to leave some feedback regarding our Princess Yelapa - Majahuitas/Yelapa Beach tour booked through your company.  First let me tell you this was our very first trip to Mexico and Puerto Vallarta was our first experience of Mexico.  We arrived there on a cruise and PV was our first port.  Needless to say...we were feeling a little out of our element and were very nervous being in a country where we did not know enough of the language.  Once we found our way through the Marina and paid the port fee...we were shown the way to Yelapa Princess.  On the way to our first stop.....Majahuitas snorkeling....we were still feeling a bit uncomfortable (our own insecurities) but the men on the boat were so welcoming that it soon disappeared.  I wish I would have written down their names.  The older gentleman was so kind and gracious...and made the best margaritas I have ever tasted...(would I be able to get the recipe how they make them?)  My little 3 year old made some friends at Yelapa beach with a beautiful Mexican family.....it took a 3 year old to show us that you can get past a language barrier very easily!! Back on the boat and on the way back to the marina was the best time....great music and great dancing....the one gentleman that met us at the Marina and showed us to the boat,...wow can he dance!!  I have never seen a man of that size, move like that before!! "I had a great experience with booking with Johann & Sandra for my family of four on the Marigalante Pirate Ship excursion in Puerto Vallarta. By doing so, I saved about $100 vs. the ship's price. The only panic I had was on our receipt, it said to meet the pirates at the Marina at 8am. Well, PV is 1 hour ahead of ship's time on the Mariner, and the Mariner wasn't scheduled to be in port until 8am (9am PV time). All was fine, we went down to the gangway early and they had already let several passengers off. And the collection of pax for the tour is from 8 - 9am PV time. We were some of the last people to join the tour, but all was fine! And we had a BLAST!  I just loooove to save money. "We had several events scheduled while there. We had a sail boat with Pegaso Chartering that was great. There was only one other couple on the boat with us so it was like having your own private boat. I highly recommend this Company. We also booked the dune buggy adventure with Puerto Vallarta Tours (we used this site for all of our tours). It was a blast but you can expect to get wet and dirty. Worth it however. Then the last one we did was the pirate ship dinner cruise better know as the booze cruise. The ship is a replica of the Santa Maria, one of the Christopher Columbus ships. You will get a laugh out of the urinals in the mens room. Even though we don't drink a lot it was worth the money and time spent. "We have always used Puerto Vallarta Tours in the past and found them to be very good. Their office is just to the right as you come out of the "shark" tank. Their drivers speak good english, and they will stop at a minimart so you can get some cold cervezas to sip on the ride to your hotel, if you so wish.
