PLAYA LOS COLOMITOS

On this trip, we head further south, out to the fishing village of Boca De Tomatlan.  Step into a typical small Mexican boat for a short boat ride to one of Puerto Vallarta's most secluded beaches, Playa Los Colomitos. Many varieties of tropical fish are here to discover as we snorkel in the lovely bay for about 2 hours.  We'll have lunch and relax on the beach, swim in the tranquil waters and enjoy ourselves.

We will hike through the tropical jungle back to Boca de Tomatlan, over a photogenic wooden slat and rope suspension bridge, through the river.  We may also encounter a wide variety of exotic birds, butterflies, lizards, and tropical trees along the way. your naturalist guide will teach you about the natural ecosystem of Puerto Vallarta as you hike.

Hiking Distance: Approximately 1 Km (0.6 miles)

Runs: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.  Cruise passengers see below for your special schedule.

Cruise Passengers: Meet at the marina office at 10:00 AM and return to ship at 3:30 PM

Duration: 6 Hours

Includes: Bilingual naturalist guide, transportation, boat ride to Colomitos, walking stick, identification material, lunch.
