BIRDWATCHING TOUR
Las Juntas y Los Veranos Tropical Forest Birding
Heading south of Puerto Vallarta
through spectacular landscapes, we enter a tropical deciduos forest.
From there we leave on foot and arrive at an adjacent oak forest.
This unique habitat offers us the opportunity to observe a wide
range of bird species, both resident and migratory, such as the
San Blas Jay, Green Jay, the Great Kiskadee, Orange-Fronted Parakeet,
and Lilac-Crowned Parrot among many others. After that we drive
and stop at Los Arcos de Mismaloya for a telescopic viewing of marine
birds.
Finally we
drive back for lunch at a great place in paradise El Nogalito river,
for filling our checklist.
Runs: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:30AM
from Marina Vallarta and 7:00AM from Puerto Vallarta until 1:30pm.
Duration: 6 Hours
Includes: Expert naturalist guide, transportation, breakfast,
binoculars, telescope, field guides, checklist, snacks.
