CORBETENA SCUBA DIVE
The top deep sea trophy-fishing destination
in Puerto Vallarta is also home to some of the best pelagic diving.
You may see up to 1,000 lb. Marlin, 400 lb. Tuna, and more. There
are caves, walls, and steep arches to explore, and the barnacle-encrusted
walls attract all kinds of sharks, rays, turtles, and dolphins.
This dive could be the highlight of your trip, with visibilities
often exceeding 100 feet. This dive site is an hour and
a half to two-hour boat ride from Puerto Vallarta each way.
Runs: Daily, all year.
Duration: 10 hours
Visibility and Water Temperature:
Jan-April: 15-40 feet / 68°-75°F
May-December: 30 to 100 feet / 78°-85°F
Experience Level: Experienced Divers Only
Requires: PADI or NAUI Open Water Certification. Minimum
of 5 divers needed to do the trip.
