OUR ADVICE:
If you are an experienced diver, and you primarily want
to see large fish and sea mammals, including whales in season,
this is the site for you. It is a prime location for trophy
fishing - you'll see why. Many say this is by far the best dive
site in the area.

EL MORRO 2-TANK
DIVE
This is a more advanced site, and is for the
experienced diver. El Morro is 26 miles off of the coast
of Puerto Vallarta, it is a premier site for large pelagics like
humpback whales, dolphins, sailfish, huge manta rays, and even
rare whale sharks! If you are looking for that once in a lifetime
encounter - this is it. The most secluded dive site in Puerto
Vallarta - and maybe the best, El Morro is known for its series
of pinnacles that rise from the floor of the ocean, riddled with
dozens of caves and tunnels waiting to be explored in a lush undersea
world that teems with life.
Runs: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:30AM to 4:00PM
from Puerto Vallarta. Pickup from Nuevo Vallarta is at
8:10 AM.
Duration: 6.5 hours
Visibility and Water Temperature:
Jan-April: 15-40 feet / 68°-75°F
May-December: 30 to 100 feet / 78°-85°F
Experience Level: Experienced Divers Only
Requires: PADI or NAUI Open Water Certification
Includes: 2-tank dive, Divemaster in the water with
you, Lunch, Water, Equipment (if that option is chosen below).
