Want to try scuba diving, but have never been certified? This is the activity for you! With our Discover Scuba Diving resort course, you can be scuba diving in only 90 minutes! Your expert PADI instructor will teach you how to breathe underwater and the basic skills you will need in order to go scuba diving to a depth of 40 feet. There will be a PADI divemaster in the water with you the whole time. You will spend about 90 minutes in shallow water with your instructor going over your skills and learning about how to scuba dive. Then it's time to do the real thing! We'll go out to the ocean and you can do not one but TWO boat dives at either Los Arcos marine park or Mismaloya, two of Puerto Vallarta's best dive sites. Swim with tropical fish under the water, look for manta rays, sea turtles, and other amazing sea life. If you like scuba diving (and we're sure you will), you can also credit this class toward your Open Water Certification - you're already halfway to being certified to scuba dive anywhere in the world. If you like, you can also book additional dives with us for the remainder of your vacation. Cruise Passengers: This tour is available as a shore excursion if your schedule allows.
