This is the real deal - you'll be certified to scuba dive in open water anywhere in the world to 60 feet by PADI, the world's largest and most respected diving organization. Once you're certified as an Open Water Diver, you can do any of our scuba diving trips, dive back home when you return, or on any future vacation anywhere! OUR ADVICE: Do your classroom studies back home and choose the referral course here in Puerto Vallarta to maximize your vacation time. You'll Need:
Kids: Ages 10 and up. Kids age 10-14 will receive a Junior Open Water Diver Certification. Kids 10-11 years will only be certified to dive with a parent or divemaster and up to depths of 40 feet (12m). After turning 15 years old, kids can upgrade to a full open water certification by simply paying a registration fee and getting a new PADI card.
