SAILING TOURS IN VALLARTA
Puerto Vallarta Sailing FAQ's
Q: HOW WILL
THE WATER BE - WILL I GET SEASICK?
A: The water is normally quite calm, though of course it varies depending on the weather from one day to the next, but even on calm water, seasickness can happen. We always recommend taking Bonine 1 hour before boarding - it's better safe than sorry.
Q: WILL I
A: Whales are a likely sighting between late November and early April. The rest of the year you are likely to see dolphins, giant manta rays, or sea turtles though.
Q: I'M ON
A CRUISE - HOW DO I GET THERE?
A: Our sailing tours depart from the same marina your ship comes into.
DO YOU OFFER BAREBACK SAILBOAT RENTALS?
A: No, all of our charters come with a captain. He may let you steer the boat, or give you a little instruction on the basics of sailing, but he is still in charge of the boat.
CAN WE GO VISIT A BEACH, AND SPEND SOME TIME THERE?
A: Absolutely. You can visit any of our fine beaches, provided we can get there and back in the time we have. If you want to visit Yelapa, for example, you'll need to book at least a six hour tour, or you won't have any time left to spend on the beach or exploring the village.
DO YOU HAVE OTHER TYPE OF BOATS BESIDES SAILBOATS?
A: Yes, we also have Fishing-style boats as well as Catamarans that we can charter for you. Of course, we can charter any boat in Puerto Vallarta for you - if you've got something in mind, just call us toll-free at 1-866-217-9704 and let us know.
