Imagine the serenity of sailing across Banderas Bay, as mighty humpback whales surface nearby. Aboard your classic sailing vessel, there is no engine noise to scare off the whales, and you may even be lucky enough to see them "breach" (jump out of the water), or to spot a baby humpback - always a joy!

Eco-Friendly! Our Sailboat uses a classic motor and covered propeller, making it one of the least invasive, and most eco-friendly options!

Ride aboard a classic sailboat to the marine park of the Marietas Islands, searching for whales!

Enjoy a complimentary Continental Breakfast and delicious snacks as your guide shares knowledge about the whales and Puerto Vallarta's ecosystem!

Go snorkeling in the Marietas Islands!

Enjoy lunch and the open bar as you go sailing, while searching for whales all the way home!

All of our boats are fully licensed whale watching vessels, certified by the Mexican Government.

Unlike other "sailing" trips in Puerto Vallarta, this trip really does sail, not just motor!

Cruise Passengers: Sorry, this tour is too long for most cruise ship schedules. If you're in doubt, ask us.

Runs: Tuesday through Sunday from December 8th through March 23rd only at 8:00 AM from Puerto Vallarta and 9:00 AM from Nuevo Vallarta.The rest of the year, see our Marietas Islands Snorkeling Tour.

Departs From: Marina Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta. Directions will be provided with your confirmation.

Watching the humpback whales is an experience you won't want to miss if you're there during calving season. You might even see baby humpbacks!

Really fantastic experience, the boat was wonderful and the staff were super friendly. I wish we'd received a little more information at the beginning of the day, kind of like a briefing of what to expect, and also heard more nature interpretation throughout our journey, rather than just whilst at the islands. Otherwise though, really great trip and I'd highly recommend it!

I was responding about a different trip. This one was awesome. I LOVED this sail, we saw whales, plenty of birds, fish (snorkeling) . A great sailing adventure, great snacks and the staff was helpful and entertaining.

Our sightings were amazing and can only image how much more intense it would be further into the season… grey whales vying for a females attention, turtles, one big stingray, dolphins, swimming in pods, and the most amazing part was the two dolphins that swam at the bow with us that you only see in the movies was breathtaking! Customer service was above par and really made the experience come together
