A cooking class is maybe the very best way to experience real local culture in Puerto Vallarta. This tour will introduce you to the flavors and tastes of real Puerto Vallarta, plus your master chef will take you on a guided excursion to the local marketplace where shopping for food is a true cultural encounter. We will also visit the tortilla factory where we will buy fresh dough to make our own handmade tortillas. Your Master Chef will lead you through an authentic cultural and culinary experience of flavors and traditions in a fun, smooth and professional way. You will learn about Mexican cuisine and its origins, the indigenous ingredients and the history and traditions behind the dishes. You will learn hands-on how to cook authentic Mexican food from scratch just like the locals do! The best part is that you get to eat what you cook in class! Yummy! Our Advice: The streets of the Romantic Zone (Old Town Puerto Vallarta) are made with cobblestone and some of the markets we visit are very small places, therefore wheelchairs, crutches and strollers are difficult to manage in this tour.
