Our Private Colomitos Snorkel is a 4-hour boat tour made just for you and your group, with an experienced local guide, full snorkel equipment, and a life jacket included. You set the pace and enjoy the personal attention of friendly guides who know these waters well, so the day feels flexible, safe, and stress-free.

Your adventure begins at El Paredon, a quiet beach with crystal-clear waters where you can swim and snorkel right away. From there, we cruise to Los Arcos, the protected marine preserve of rock islets famous for its marine life. Your guide shares the area's ecology and history and points out rare seabirds such as pelicans, cormorants, and blue-footed boobies, with plenty of chances for great photos. Along the way, you'll also see the waterfront mansions and the small community of Boca de Tomatlan.

The final stop is Playa Colomitos, a small, sheltered cove known for its emerald-green water and only reachable by boat. Because no public snorkeling tours go to this beach, you'll enjoy it far from the big groups. Snorkel alongside your guide, who shows you the underwater world and explains the areas of Puerto Vallarta you're passing, and you may spot tropical fish, rays, turtles, and manta rays. Colomitos snorkeling is a great idea for cruise passengers, since you can set your own start time - especially if you have several people in your group so the cost is minimal. 

Note: *Please note that we use three different pangas for this tour. All three are similar, and your panga will be assigned based on the group size and the day's operational logistics.

It was easy to book and the company communicated well The tour guide did not help at all, and was gone snorkeling without checking our equipment or providing instruction out support. No flippers were available, which made it hard to swim against the current she found some creatures and found us to show them, but really want a guide at all. Super nice but totally disinterested in our experience. If she had helped with gear so that everything worked properly it would have improved our experience. The masks were poorly fitted for some of us and one hose leaked but she jumped off the boat and disappeared so we couldn't get help.
