Taking a private whale
watching tour gives you total flexibility in
choosing your start time and setting your
own itinerary. This is a great option
for cruise passengers, as it can be made to
work with any cruise ship schedule. It
is also a good choice if you have several
people in your group, as you're paying for
the whole boat, which means the more people
you have, the less cost per person it is.
On this exclusive private
tour, your captain will take you in a
10-passenger panga boat with a canopy for
shade out into Banderas Bay to search for
the gentle giants of Puerto Vallarta -
humpback whales. You may also see sea
turtles, dolphins, manta rays, tropical
fish, and a wide variety of sea birds.
If we're lucky we may even see a mother with
her new baby calf, as Puerto Vallarta is a
calving ground for the humpbacks. As
with all whale watching tours in Puerto
Vallarta, this tour is only available from
December through March.
