EL TUITO "REAL MEXICO"
Get way off the beaten track
and head into the Sierra Madre to the small town
of El Tuito. The oldest and most charming
town in the Sierra Madre, El Tuito features
colorful facades and an opportunity for us to
view "real Mexico", where the local people are
going about their daily lives, making cheese,
bread and raicilla (a local Puerto
Vallarta liquor).
At 2,000 feet above sea
level, the vegetation surrounding El Tuito
begins to change from palms to pines, giving you
a real view of the Sierra Madre. We'll
meet local people, learn about the rural Mexican
culture, visit Botanical Gardens, and see
ancient petroglyphs. Something different
than the usual tourist trail, a look at the real
Mexico!
Runs: Wednesdays at
10:00 AM
Duration: 7.5 Hours Approximately
Departs From: Your hotel front door (in
