MANGROVE EXPLORER
Get away from the hotels
and tourist areas and take a short and
eye-opening tour into the mangrove waterways
of Puerto Vallarta. This small boat is
perfect for exploring the narrow inlets of
southern Nayarit, where your expert
naturalist guide will help you spot the
various wildlife of Nuevo Vallarta.
Keep an eye out for
crocodiles, iguanas, crabs, many types of
tropical birds, and other wildlife in its
natural habitat. Spot for beautiful
native water fowl like herons and egrets and
beautiful tropical bird life like
magnificent frigatebirds and parakeets.
With our on-board exhibits, you'll see how
the birds make their nests, and what they
eat.
See an actual termite
nest, and learn how the mangroves survive
and grow. This is a fun, educational
and enlightening experience for the whole
family, and only takes 2 hours, so you have
plenty of time to do other fun things the
rest of the day!
Runs: Four times daily at 7:30 AM,
11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, and Sunset (times vary).
