Our
Advice:
All tour times are subject to change and the
length of the tour depends on you. We are
very flexible, however due to the nature of
the sleepy ranch towns, there is no
guarantee that the restaurants will be open
for service.
Most
of the time we will stop at a traditional
Botanero where so long as you order a
beer for 13 pesos each, they provide you
with all the ceviche tostadas, chicken
tacos, beef sopes, shrimp or crab soup that
you can eat so long as you keep ordering
beer. Now that's a deal!!
Our advice is to take along some money to
purchase some food and beer, but pack some
healthy munchies to sustain you while
surfing in addition to the water,
non-alcoholic beverages and snacks we will
provide.
Please take
care the night before your trip - hangovers
do not provide a good surfing experience!

COSTA SUR
ADVENTURE
For experienced surfers
only! Take a ride on the wild side as
we venture south of Puerto Vallarta along
the Costa Sur of Jalisco for some awesome
surfing adventures. Our tour will
visit surfing areas where few visitors will
ever see, places far removed from the crowds
of Puerto Vallarta's beaches, undiscovered
stretches of magnificent coastline with
pounding Pacific waves just made for
surfing.
We'll evaluate the day's
surf report, your skill levels and your
interests and match them together to make
the perfect surfing safari for you.
Then we're off to the the beautiful Costa
Sur south of Puerto Vallarta where your
expert surfing guides will show you the
awesome surf of this region of Mexico.
Upon return, we will hit the local
Botanero to celebrate with a beer or two
before returning to Puerto Vallarta.

PUERTO VALLARTA SURFING LOCATIONS

Costa
Sur, the area south of Puerto
Vallarta's Pacific Coast, is one of
the hottest surfing locations in
Mexico. Here are descriptions
of a few of the best surfing spots
in this area:
La
Cruz de Loreto - Located 1
hour and 15 minutes south of Puerto
Vallarta, La Cruz de Loreto has a
super fun beach break for both
surfing and bodyboarding. This spot
also gets swells from the South,
West and North all year long.
La Gloria - Located 1 1/2
hours south of Puerto Vallarta, La
Gloria has a river mouth beach break
with clear blue water waves ranging
from 2 feet to 10 feet. The swell
direction for this spot is south,
west and north. There are
waves all year at this location.
Las Penitas - Located 2
hours south of Puerto Vallarta, this
is the ideal surf location with 5
different spots to choose from. The
main break is left point break about
250 yards long left with a strong
south swell. There are two
beach breaks which break on swell
direction from the south, west and
north with waves all year.
There are also two right hand breaks
with a fast tube section recommended
only for skilled surfers! Best from
July-September. |
