Our Advice:
If you decide
to stay on the boat and go to Quimixto, we
recommend you plan on getting a snack there
or bring one along - the lunch isn't until
almost 4:00 PM, so you'll probably be
hungry. Remember during dry season,
the waterfall isn't much - but it is
beautiful during rainy season.

BAHIA ALEGRE CRUISE
Prepare for a day of cruising
to paradise in Puerto Vallarta! Ride the double-decker
catamaran, Bahia Alegre, as you cruise past the
Puerto Vallarta skyline and Mismaloya (the set of
Night of the Iguana), on your way to Los
Arcos National Marine Park. Here you'll stop
to go snorkeling in the marina preserve, and see
many types of tropical fish and marine life.
The next stop is Las Animas,
perhaps the most beautiful beach in all of Puerto
Vallarta. Here you can swim, relax, or enjoy
kayaking in the waters of the bay. You can
even make an optional visit to Las Animas
Adventure Park if you wish. For those who
get off at Las Animas, you will eat lunch about
2:00 PM. You will get to relax at Las
Animas until about 5:30 PM, when we head back to
Puerto Vallarta.
If you choose, you can stay
on the boat instead, we'll
make our way to Quimixto, where the lush jungle
drapes over a beautiful seasonal waterfall, that
is easily accessible by walking or renting a horse.
You can swim at the waterfall, take
photos, or just lounge on the beach. After about
2 hours, the boat will return to Las Animas,
where the Quimixto group will eat lunch about
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM. At about 5:30 PM, the
boat will head back to Puerto Vallarta. A great taste of three of Puerto Vallarta's most
beautiful areas!
