EL ACUARIO (AQUARIUM)
This is the most popular
shallow dive in Puerto Vallarta, suitable
for beginners or as a second dive after a
deep dive (such as Devils Canyon). It
is a flat bottom dive site that features a
huge variety of marine life. Located
at Los Arcos marine preserve, The Aquarium
gets its name from the amount of fish here.
Look for large schools of colorful tropical
fish, moray eels and that rarest of treats,
sea horses.
Your family can relax on
the sandy beach while you dive. After
your dive, visit one of the beach
restaurants for lunch or a drink while you
tell about your experience. Combine
this site with any of the other Mismaloya
dives to create your own 2-tank dive!
